However I question the validity of the claim given that the actual title is only 31 words. The rest is simply a listing of every obscure prize the author has ever won. The folks over at Guinness certainly don't think too highly of it. Here's the link to the current record-holder according to them:

The longest book title belongs to writer and artist Nigel Tomm. His book title consists of 3,999 characters (with spaces) or 670 words. it is even to long to fit in this comment box :)
