Broadcastr is coming.

Bringing your oral history to the web.

"Broadcastr is bringing audio-based story telling into the digital age in a way that allows everyone all over the world to participate. Sure we have Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, but not everyone may feel comfortable or confident enough to express themselves through writing or video. On the other hand, verbal story telling is much easier—it’s one of civilization’s oldest traditions and thanks to mobile and GPS technology, we can make it even easier and more fun."

For information on the project head over to their webpage, or you can go to the live site at http://www.broadcastr.com/ to sign up for their beta or access the full version.

Keep an eye out for contributions from the Frankston Library Service when the site goes live.
