In conjunction with a variety of local artists, we are proud to bring you... Frankston City Libraries is introducing a new and exciting borrowing program allowing library members access to artwork by local established and emerging artists.
This program is very successful overseas and has proven to be a great opportunity for artists to showcase their artwork and for the local community to experience art they may not have otherwise had access to.
Here's how it works:
- Borrowers pay a one-off $50.00 fee to become part of the program
- Search the catalogue of art for loan pieces and reserve those you want
- The artist will deliver the items to Frankston Library to be picked up.
- Items are loaned out for eight weeks, with an option to renew once for a further four weeks.
- Loans are limited to two pieces at a time.
- Normal charges will apply to late returns.
Please remember when returning Art for Loan items that they are to be returned to the Desk at Frankston Library. Do not attempt to place them in the chutes as this will result in damage to the items.
