The comfort of print and paper

Are books better in bed?
According to the reportage of a survey commissioned by the Swedish furniture retailer Ikea (no jokes there), Australians are more likely to prefer cuddling up with a good read than with someone else.

Of course, they do sell bookcases.

  1. It makes sense. A book never snores. It won't complain about the light still being on at 3am. No chance of it hogging the blankets. It doesn't wake up at the crack of dawn and ruin your sleep in. I could go on, but it would just get silly.

    Scott.

  2. But books can give you paper cuts.

Think of it this way: authors get to go to bed with more people than anyone else.
