The Frankston Arts Precinct in association with the Melbourne Writers Festival presents 3 free workshops for emerging writers, or anyone interested in the ‘how to’ of writing. These creative writing workshops will be run by well known Australian authors: David Metzenthen, Margo Lanagan and Michael Hyde.
10:00am - David Metzenthen is a Melbourne - based writer creating works of Australian fiction for people of all ages, including books such as Boys of Blood and Bone and Stony Heart Country.
11:15am - Margo Lanagan is an acclaimed writer of novels and short stories such as the multi-award-winning Black Juice and Red Spikes.
12:30pm - Michael Hyde’s recent novels include MAX, Tyger Tyger and Hey Joe, which was named as a Notable Book in the 2004 CBCA Awards
