Celebrating Frankston's refurbishment

Local Government Minister, Richard Wynne, will officially launch the refurbishment of the Frankston Library on Tuesday, 14 July.

Council applied for a grant through the Living Libraries Program to complete the three-stage makeover which has improved access, and better serves library user needs. It has developed the facility into a community and learning hub.

The library now has vibrant new carpet and signage, more space and zones for groups to gather, areas for quiet study use, new external shades and as of this month, a new multi-purpose room for use by the community.
